"I am currently a Junior attending Diamond Bar High School where I’m a peer counselor, FBLA officer, and active member of NHS and Key club. My parents and grandparents are Chinese immigrants so teaching English is something I cherish and am deeply passionate about. Through English Learning Mission, my team and I hope to support immigrants within our community by equipping them with tools necessary for basic communication."

I co-founded ELM in my sophomore year to help my community members cross the language barrier and help them gain the confidence to communicate in English. I find it especially rewarding to see our students progress at their English skills."
